ECARO-25 is the most cost-effective clean agent fire suppressant and engined system in the market place. Fike's ECARO-25 system allows for the utilization of small diameter piping over long distances, and requires 20% less agent per ft3/m3 than FM-200 systems and 38% less clean agent per ft3/m3 than Novec 1230 systems.1 ECARO-25 is manufactured by DuPont as FE-25.
FM-200 is a widely used clean agent fire suppressant and the original Halon replacement. FM-200 is manufactured by DuPont as FE-227.
Novec 1230 Fire Protection Fluid is considered the most environmentally friendly clean agent with a GWP of just one (1) and an atmospheric life of just five (5) days. Novec 1230 is manufactured by 3M as FK-5-1-12.

Micro-Environment systems were developed for the purpose of protecting small enclosures by adapting large engineered suppression technology. Pre-engineered micro systems provide an economical, all-in-one, on-board fire suppression for critical equipment, electrical/technical systems, and various types of enclosures, occupied or unoccupied.
Systems are actuated, either manually or automatically, the agent is released from the container, flows through a simple network of standard copper or black pipe and compression or threaded fittings, out of the nozzle(s) or detection tubing (a Linear Pneumatic Heat Sensor) and into the protected space, extinguishing the fire. Micro fire suppression systems require no expensive design work or flow calculations, and are easy to install.

The Inert gas blend IG-55, having ZERO ozone depletion potential and global warming potential, makes it the TRUE GREEN alternative.
IG-55 is comprised of a 50:50 mixture of Argon and Nitrogen. Argon and Nitrogen do not decompose into toxic or corrosive elements when exposed to a flame and due to their natural occurrence in the environment the extinguishant is readily available and affordable. Plus, when a system discharges there is no fog or residue.
Inert gases are the only clean agent gases that extinguish fires based on the principle of oxygen depletion. The system discharges the gas into the protected area decreasing the oxygen level from 21% to 12.5%. Although, the reduced oxygen levels will not sustain a combustion reaction, the levels are acceptable for human exposure over a short period of time.
Water Mist systems are ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY, non-toxic, cost efficient, easy to install and widely applicable. Water Mist systems extinguish fires by cooling due to droplet vaporization (heat absorption), oxygen displacement, inerting, due to water expansion to steam, cooling the fuel surface and diluting flammable vapors with water vapor, making the mixture too lean to burn.
Water is the only element that a Water Mist system has in common with an automatic sprinkler system. The design technology involved is significantly different. This risk-specific fire protection solution is a fine spray mist that offers effective protection without the deluge, damage, and residual water of traditional water-based systems.
